Very Cool Jam!!

Not sure where Scott and T-Bone found it (OK, maybe they found it in Montana). They sent me some very cool jam for my big day and the Holidays. My spicy jam supply, last reloaded at the Oark General Store (http://www.oarkgeneralstore.com/) during RiTSOOA in April, just went dry.

Amazon TP Traveling More then Me

It's sad on so many levels when the TP I ordered on Amazon a week ago has already been more places then I will visit this month. Amazon originally shipped from Romeoville, IL (S. Chicago burb) last Tuesday and said it would be delivered at my home the following day. FedEx stopped updating the tracking information Friday afternoon when it made it way from New Berlin, WI (near Milwaukee) to Osseo, MN (NW Minneapolis burb). It would be kind of cool if they stamped the box like a passport every time it reached a new FedX distribution center so I would know everywhere it had visited when (and if) it finally arrives.

Happy Birthday Pig!! July 29, 2018

You have been a steadfast and dependable steed (except for a clutch, final drive, starter solenoid, ignition short, head lamp short, and a couple of lost shoes) . We have shared many fine moments together other over the first 100,000. Even though it took years for me to built the level of fondness which developed early for Piglet (DL650) and Dagmar (K1200RS), you have been the one who was always ready to go the distance and I appreciate that. I'm looking forward to the next 100,000... after we get that oil lamp thing figured out.

Home!!

Made it home this evening about 10 PM. Rode from Billings, MT to Sioux City, IA. A little windy in parts, but pretty uneventful. Nice to be home.

Noticed some of my posts did come through. I'll work on getting them posted Friday with photos.

Short wet day

Had breakfast at restaurant next to last night's motel, North Country Inn Restaurant. Talked to a rider from Kentucky who was also at hotel in Hyder. He stopped at same place as us for night. He is riding an old Honda Nighthawk wirh no windscreen. I had smoked salmon benny special (egg benidict), was quite good.

Left Vanderhoof at got rained on all day with temps in mide to upper 40's. Stopped early to warm up about 100 miles from Jasper. Trying to figure out where we are going after Banff, East Glacier is probably likely.

Left Hyder this morning

Left Hyder this morning after taking a day off to rest and explore yesterday. Saw Salmon Glacier (nice ride). Then spent some time in near by Stewert, BC at a Canada celibration. Tonight Vaderhoof BC, geographic center of BC. Heading towards Jasper National Park Monday.
